Red Hot Apple Cider Jelly

1 quart Zeigler’s Apple Cider
2/3 cup Red Hots candy
1 package (1-3/4 ounces) powdered fruit pectin
5 cups sugar

In a Dutch oven, combine cider and Red Hots. Stir in pectin. Bring to a full rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Stir in sugar; return to a full rolling boil. Boil and stir 1 minute.
Remove from heat; skim off foam. Ladle hot mixture into six hot half-pint jars, leaving 1/4-in. headspace. Wipe rims. Center lids on jars; screw on bands until fingertip tight.
Place jars into canner with simmering water, ensuring that they are completely covered with water. Bring to a boil; process for 10 minutes. Remove jars and cool. Yield: 6 half-pints.

Rum and Pineapple Punch

½ sliced fresh pineapple
1 oz fresh orange juice
1 oz simple syrup
1 ½ oz lemon juice
2 oz brandy
4 oz rum
½ quart Zeigler’s Apple Cider

Combine all into a punch bowl. Chill at least 4 hours up to overnight.

Apple Cider PB Fudge

1 6-oz package of chocolate chips
1 small jar marshmallow cream
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cup sugar
2/3 cup Zeigler’s Apple Cider

Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl. Cook sugar and cider over medium heat to a soft ball stage (240 degrees with a candy thermometer). Remove from heat and quickly add chocolate mixture. Stir until blended. Pour into a 9-inch buttered pan. Cool in fridge for about an hour and cut into squares.

Apple Cider Pot Roast

1 ½ cup Zeigler’s Old Fashioned Cider
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. ground ginger (or freshly grated)
3 whole cloves
3-4 lbs beef chuck pot roast
Flour

Mix cider, sugar, and spices. Pour over pot roast and let stand in refrigerator for 24 hours. Remove from marinade and sprinkle with flour. Brown both sides in hot oil in heavy skillet or dutch oven. Turn heat to low, pour marinade back on the roast, and cover tightly. Simmer for 3 hours. Around hour 2, add potatoes and carrots if desired.

Spiked and Toasty
Apple Cider

1 cup Zeigler’s Apple Cider
2 tbs. cranberry puree
Splash of bourbon

Warm cider. Add all ingredients to a mug. Top with whipped cream and cinnamon.

Mango Mimosas

Zeigler's Mango Citrus Carrot Fruit & Veggie Juice Blend
Prosecco or Champagne
Top with blueberries

Apple Cider Smoothie

1 cup Zeigler’s Apple Cider
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup plain non-fat yogurt
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. apple pie spice

Blend ingredients until smooth.

Cold Apple Cider Punch

½ gallon Zeigler’s Apple Cider
¾ cup dark molasses
3 cup orange juice
¼ cup lemon juice

Garnish
1 orange, sliced
½ lemon, sliced

In large punch bowl, whisk together the apple cider and molasses until well blended. Stir in orange and lemon juices. Chill until serving time. Garnish with orange and lemon slices. Makes 12 cups or 24 (½ cup) servings.

Apple Cider Float

Zeigler’s Apple Cider
Vanilla ice cream

Fill a glass with 2/3 cider.
Add a scoop of ice cream.
Sprinkle with apple pie spice.
Garnish with an apple slice.

Zeigler's Spiked Toasty Apple Cider Recipe

Fennel and Apple Salad with Cider Vinaigrette

Dressing
½ cup Zeigler’s Apple Cider
3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp honey

Salad
1 large Granny Smith apple, quartered, cored, thinly sliced
1 medium-size fresh fennel bulb, trimmed, thinly sliced
2 cups arugula
½ cup pecans, toasted

Whisk first 4 ingredients in medium bowl to blend; season dressing with salt and pepper. Combine apple, fennel and arugula in large bowl. Toss with enough dressing to coat. Sprinkle with pecans.

Apple Cider BBQ Sauce

2 c. Ketchup
1/2 c. Apple sauce
1/2 c. Zeigler’s Old Fashioned Apple Cider
1/3 c. Apple cider vinegar
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
3/4 tsp. Garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Onion powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Bring to simmer over medium heat.
Cook until the flavors meld and the sauce reduces slightly, about 15 minutes. Let cool and transfer to a resealable jar.
